I am Compu-smart, one of many authors here at Hubpages who write articles. I have no graduate degrees or post-nominal suffixes after my name. So below is my CV.
I am a lifelong resident of London, where, from ages 1 to 25, I lived in numerous residential institutions -- (no asylums) thankfully. My world has been filled with people of every race and religion, every type of individual with every type of mental and physical disability, disorder, and life circumstance. I was fortunate to have lived an unorthodox life, and I have met some of the kindest, most genuine people in the world. I have also lived with con artists, rapists, robbers, murderers, every kind of criminal imaginable. People of every age, shape, and colour. I know the good and bad in this world. My history and experience have taught me to live and think in-and and-outside the many boxes, cubes, octagons, and other shapes of life. I am a critical thinker, a problem-solver, an inventor and innovator, and an artist. There are no rose-tinted spectacles or blinkers in my world.
I've studied many subjects endlessly to discover how the 'right' nutrition and 'correct' exercises can help the body and the brain deal with illness and diseases. As well as good sleep habits and good company - as well as avoiding stressful people and situations. I am a voracious reader -- newspapers, books, magazines, Internet sources. As a critical thinker, I do not take everything at face value. I mentally store information like a jigsaw piece, and I fit the puzzle pieces together as I learn more about a given subject, until the picture becomes bigger and clearer. I write here, based on the evidence, research, investigation, and experiences I have continued to amass throughout my life. I consider myself to be the human equivalent of a Carbon Nanotube Sponge of life, soaking up and purifying the toxicity that people sometimes cannot see.
As does every curious person, I live by this most important principle: The more I learn about the world and the subjects about which I feel passionate, the less I understand and the more I need to learn.
Lifestyle, Healthy Living:I study scientific, medical, nutrition, holistic, and mental health materials, and I read and listen to lectures by medical, psychology, nutrition experts, toxicologists, pathologists, scientists, and other university faculty with a focus on the impacts of our lifestyle choices on the mind and body. Some main culprits include the positive changes that can occur when implementing a healthy diet, nutritional supplements, stress reduction, and exercise that will lead to a long and healthy life. Proper nutrition and physical exercise that is appropriate for age and disability can potentially cure, reverse, and repair many health problems, such as diabetes, heart disease, rheumatological, and even some cancers. I mentor people, suggesting lifestyle tweaks to improve lifestyles, medical conditions, and mental health, based on the problems they have reported and their family history, and I also observe and interview people who share how their lifestyles have changed them for better or worse.
From experience, I discovered that the healthiest food in the world can kill you if you choke to death on it!
Subliminal Messages, Microaggression, Systemic Injustices: I believe in humane living. I recognize the manipulative nature of subliminal advertising, passive bullying, and the many microscopic systemic injustices in the world, which are so vast and insidious, they often go unnoticed. I share my insights gained from decades of study, observation, and experimentation. I am my guinea pig: telling me NO is an invitation for me to find out what will happen -- e.g., "Don't watch too much TV or your eyes will go square" = invitation. (My eyes did not go square.) "Don't look at the light from arc welding" = invitation. (That night, my eyes felt as if they had broken glass in them.)
Substance Abuse, Dependence, and Addiction: I understand that many people have been impacted by legal and illegal substance abuse, dependence, and addiction as well as cigarette smoking, poor diet, and other lifestyle choices, and that many physical and mental problems could have been prevented with the right information to live a healthy life. Our ancestors did not have the expertise, knowledge, and information we have available to us now. Lifestyle plays a vital role in our overall mental health and physical well-being/ability.
Internet, Computers Articles: I have been online since Windows 1998. I have experimented with and used multiple browsers, antivirus, and anti-spyware programs, and multiple web chat clients throughout the years. My curiosity has sent me all over the public Web. I know first-hand how amazing and useful, and how dark, dangerous, even deadly this other world offers us from the comfort of our living rooms.
FAME Articles. I've met and known many celebrities throughout my life who I won't name-drop. Each has taught me something to share.
I have recently been an unofficial observer to the majority of London protests which I am currently writing about. Protests, where Londoners and people from all over the country are fighting for their rights and justice from injustices within the UK and
