If you have some old tools lying around such as defunct saws for example, then why not make them into this wall art idea? You could hang them as a wreath on your front door as a festive focal point.

- Adorn with decorations and remember to keep out of reach of small children

Potato Masher Christmas Scene
Pretty much any old utensil you have lying around your kitchen or home can be turned into a festive decoration as this picture shows. If you have an old masher, then adorn it with mini festive ornaments to transform it into this wonderful idea.
Paint Brush Characters
Give tired paint brushes a new look by turning them into festive ornaments. Make sure you clean your old paint brushes off first before you paint them like festive characters such as elves and snowmen.
String some twine in the hole at the top so that they can be easily hung. They would also make great little gifts to give out too.
Decorated Bowling Pin
If you have old bowling pins lying around or if you live near a bowling alley, you could ask them for their old ones to make this idea. All you need is some paint and some additional decorations such as faux winter berries and garland.
Light Bulb Christmas Ornament
We all have old light bulbs lying around. Instead of throwing them out, why not transform them into an adorable light bulb one-eyed Minion painted Christmas ornament? You can then store it the same way you would other glass ornaments.
