I am a summer lover. I love the long days, the walks on the beach, the light clothes, and how everything looks better in the summer.

Summer Quarantine Blues?

Many of us have questionable expectations for our summers, and most of us have no idea how the season will look. This feeling is perfectly natural, and the truth is that we all feel that way. The summer of 2020 will inevitably be different from all others. just because it is distinct, however, does not mean that it has to be boring.

With the summer solstice marking the beginning of the new season, follow the recommendations listed below to make the most of the hot and sunny days while enjoying the simplest things in life. We may not be able to return to our old habits, just yet, but that doesn't mean we can't create new ones!

Learn Something New

This may be the right time to take an online course. You can learn a new language or do a workshop on a topic that interests you. Whether to cultivate your enthusiastic side about a certain subject or to open your horizons and launch yourself into something new, do not miss the opportunity that is being given to you. Yes, a calmer summer can also be an opportunity to enrich yourself at all levels, including the intellectual.

Recreate Little Moments

We can still evoke memories of eternal and wonderful summer trips at homeā€”the smell of a barbecue in the early evening; the sound of crickets singing outside at dusk; the glass of wine that we love to drink at the golden hour. All of this can be recreated in our homes! And why not have an indoor or outdoor picnic? Create and transform your reality to feel happier.

Prepare Your Summer Readings

How about preparing a summer-vacation reading list? We all have books that we would like to read, so why not select some to be your company during the summer? After you choose the books that will accompany you, turn off your phone, look for a comfortable and sunny area , and enjoy your reading outdoors (or indoors near a sunny window). Imagine you are in the pool, and enjoy the silence while diving into pages that could change your life.

Make a Playlist of Songs That Make You Happy

Everything will depend on your musical taste, but the truth is that this year, some albums have been released that deserve to be present in any summer playlist. Choose the songs that suit you best, and put your favorite albums together in an escape-worthy playlist to enjoy wherever and however you want. This way, not even the foggiest days will be sad.

Venture Out and Discover in Your Own Way

Faraway adventures may be out of the picture for the time being, but taking an imaginary trip has never been easier. From virtual festivals where you can sit in the front row without leaving the couch to cultural exhibitions in your own home, book your summer event calendar. At the same time, enjoy the parks and sights of your region and incorporate holiday habits into your daily routine. Also, remember to take the opportunity to renovate the space in which you spend most of your time. Take notes from interior designers on the best ways to insert self-care habits into your daily routine by modifying your space.

Have a Great Summer!

Don't forget that you still have time to make this the best summer of your life. The opportunity is in your hands.

I think we all are learning that this summer will be like no other. Good idea of listing things we should do that we may have put off for whatever reason.
