DIY Baby Shower Centerpiece Ideas
If there’s a special little bundle arriving, you’ll no doubt be planning a baby shower to celebrate. It may surprise you to learn that hosting such an event needn't cost a fortune.
In fact, these budget-friendly baby shower ideas will take care of that. There are tons of ways to recycle old items. For example, glass containers from candles can be washed out and used as vases. You can also find great things cheaply at the local dollar store. Many of these ideas could also be reused for other occasions such as baptisms, birthdays, or even hen parties.
Hot Air Balloons
A hot air balloon centerpiece is a fun way to add quirkiness to your event. Purchase paper lanterns in the color of your choice and hot glue four wooden dowels to the side and to a glass at the bottom. The glass can be filled with delicate flowers, such as baby's breath.
Star and Moon
A star and moon centerpiece is an adorable idea for a gender-neutral shower. Place cotton balls in the bottom of a vase and cut out a moon and star in glitter card stock. Finish with some battery-operated firefly lights. This can also be done in yellow, blue, or another color that suits your theme better.
To recreate this idea, purchase a large fish bowl for the center and smaller ones to go around it. Place pink glass tones inside and adorn the outside with pink ribbon.
Teddy Bear Balloons
How adorable is this teddy bear with a hot air balloon centerpiece idea? Hook a teddy bear to gold and white balloons (or whatever colors you like).
For an elephant-themed shower, this baby crown elephant centerpiece is perfect. You can print out an elephant image of your choosing and then use pink or blue tulle on the bottom.
