Easy DIY Baby Boy Shower Decorations

If you're organizing a shower, you don't have to spend a fortune like celebs! Here are some great ideas for you and that special bundle of joy!

Throwing a baby shower for a friend or relative is super friendly and can also be a surprisingly enjoyable experience. However, if you ask us, baby showers are also too good an opportunity for crafting and DIY decor projects to pass up! When it comes to parties or celebrations of any kind, I am not one to hold back on any aspect of them. I absolutely love hosting and organizing parties, whether it be for Christmas or a birthday.

Check out these awesome baby shower ideas that will take your decor to the next level and really make the party match up with the exciting occasion.

Dollar Tree DIY Baby Blocks for Baby Shower

I have an adorable baby shower setup for your baby boy! I'm going to start by making two boxes out of these picture frames from Viola Tree. They are 5″ x 7″ picture frames, and I'm just going to glue them together.

I'm going to start by adding glue to the side of this frame, and I'm going to glue it to the back of this frame. Then I'm going to do the same with my other box right here. My next step is to place the letters B-O-Y on the boxes.

DIY Baby Shower Photo Backdrop

The size of the backdrop I got is 2.5 meters which is 8 feet, and that is the same size as my metal backdrop. So I tucked it under the stand of my backdrop because it was a little bigger than expected, but after I was finished adding all the balloons, I untucked it!

Rattle Cake Pops

There are two different ways to make a cake pop rattle and insert color into your cake pop to do a gender reveal!

I have some blue/turquoise-looking cake pops. You can do any color; remember to use your imagination. Also, try it more than once before you give up or you feel like you failed; remember everything takes time and lots of practice!

Baby Diaper Bouquet Tutorial

Today I want to share with you a DIY diaper bouquet tutorial! My cousin couldn't have a baby shower, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and make her a diaper bouquet!

  • Diapers—I used about 32
  • A vase—mine was eight inches tall and four inches wide
  • A foam ball—at least as wide as the vase; you can get a full one, but I could only find a 1/2 foam ball, and the one I used was 5.7 inches wide

DIY Baby Shower Gift Basket

Check out this gorgeous blue tub I picked up at the Dollar Tree for only one dollar! I added tissue in there and so now we can start adding the gifts. I started with this cute two-piece PJ that I found at Walmart.

The basket came out very beautifully so if you want to use the one I did then get down to the Dollar Tree as they carry them in every size & every color you could think of!

Rice Krispie Treats for a Baby Shower

In the video above, there are more ideas for candy table treats. This time I am doing a baby boy, which is pretty much blue and white.

So let's get started! I am starting off with some Rice Krispies treats—I'm making just basic squares and some Rice Krispies treat pops. I am showing you these two items because I am also going to decorate some jumbo marshmallows and some pretzel rods!

Rubber Ducky Baby Shower Theme

This rubber ducky baby shower centerpiece is amazing, and the setup isn't difficult.

I'm going to be using this wire basket that I got from Walmart, it was a little bit over four bucks, but I also have a couple of alternative ideas.

Next, I'm going to be using my twisting-shaped balloons to wrap around my top because I want a white tub and because you guys know I love to work with balloons!

Winnie the Pooh Theme

A Winnie the Pooh theme baby shower would be perfect for a little boy. Check out the photos below for recording inspiration and food ideas.

Are you going to a baby shower and you want to buy a cute gift, but everything seems too expensive? Watch the video above and check out the photos below to get more DIY baby shower gifts that will save you a lot of cash.
