Next Year Could Be Your Best Yet

Many people drift from one year into the next, mindless of the new hope and opportunity the refreshment of the calendar can bring. Whether it's due to an unhealthy emotional state or an irresponsible lifestyle, individuals who fail to recognize all that a new year can herald miss the excitement that comes with the change.

Many others are mindful of the milestone and its opportunities for new beginnings and changes in certain areas of their lives. This group will appreciate the following quotes, which contain insights worthy of consideration when preparing to move forward into the next year. In each quote, there is a fact or assumption to consider. It is my hope that one of these quotes may help inspire a beneficial change of attitude that will bring you success in the new year.

And next year's words await another voice.

Great quotes and some I really love like Neil Gaiman's. When we 'face the brute' we make mistakes but learn faster. Carry on, Dee. Peace.

That's very profound that you can't waste time in advance. It is there waiting and cannot be sullied beforehand. Thanks for the insightful quotes.

        Blessings,

        To Dora.

        These are "very interesting" quotes.

The attitude given in ( James 4:13-17 ) is pretty much how i view life now. That don't mean we don't take all these quotes into consideration, but keeping in mind that life is but a mist that appears for a while then vanishes, we ought to say, or "Keep in mind at least" "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that"

I really like the quote from "Winslow Homer" under finances. It kind of shows the limitations of money :)

Hi Dora so true and one must learn from these quotes. The history of poverty trails on and most people do not pay attention to their needs and wants in life. It is uncontrollable for those who spend lavishly and fail to see the bad habits.

There is one of my quotes as a humble addition to this beautiful collection:

"Let us help this world of illusions to experience more magic this new year which is coming! We, who have experienced the magic only Love can do, have an obligation to do so." -Sean Dragon

        Blessings and gratitude!

In my thoughts; We are born to be reborn. If we were for re-death we would be lost. Choose your date for either. I like New Years as this reminds me of this, but more so our savior's birth.

I love the last one about making mistakes...so very true. It would be easy to sit still, do nothing, and thus make no mistakes...but it seems to me that in doing nothing you are actually making a mistake. We were meant to do things...we are an action species. :)
