Quotes About Trees
Starting in 1989, Trees for the Future, an organization known as just TREES is on a mission to plant one billion trees by 2030. They have observed a link between deforestation and poverty. They believe that trees are the answer to the economic support of communities, the improvement of people's lives and the restoration of the planet. Trees make positive contributions to, among other things, our respiratory and overall health needs, the beauty of our landscapes, the conservation of water and energy. It is safe to say that we cannot live without them.
Still, we cannot neglect to underscore that trees also contribute to the spiritual and mental development of those who are mindful. The following 30 quotes will make us reflect on lessons we have learned. They may also make us more willing to look for, and apply, more positive life principles that can be gleaned from our teachers in nature.
